Dear Readers and Authors:
As always, we have many new developments. I'll share the most important ones with you rather than leave you in suspense: First, several manuscripts are under review for publication. Thanks to all our new authors for considering us in their publishing aspirations! They will be hearing from me in the next few weeks (maybe sooner!) regarding the manuscripts.
Second, we are now offering a new non-exclusive contract for new authors. This contract allows the author to publish their book with other non-exclusive publishers (there are many online/electronic publishers who offer non-exclusive contracts) and will allow you to maximize the profit potential of your book. However, there is a fee involved (currently $150.) The reason for the fee, basically, is that by publishing through several sites the author is more likely to devote less time to promoting sales of the book on our site. If you are a current author with an interest in this contract, you are encouraged to read the contract carefully (the only differences are the designation of non-exclusive rights rather than exclusive rights, the fee mentioned above, and the contract length (10 years.)) If you are then still interested, you should contact me as soon as possible to request to be moved to that contract when your contract comes up for renewal, one year from initiation. Most contracts will be automatically renewed. If you have not yet signed you can choose which contract you prefer. We will also be opening up our web page hosting offer to self-published authors who would like to list their books for a monthly fee.
Promotion: We are advertising in Writer's Write as well as in the Write Markets Report newsletter. We are planning to sponsor a contest on a writers' site to raise awareness of our company. Anyone with ideas about the contest, contact me. We will probably be supplying books on disk as prizes.
You may have noticed Suzanne Ellis' exquisite artwork on the cover of Transformations by Nora M. Mulligan on our site. Suzanne has agreed to help us with some of our other book covers as well. Thanks, Suzanne!
What's New?
On a personal note: I recently got engaged to a wonderful man, who happens to also be silent partner in Sirius Publications. Consequently, I am relocating, and the address for Sirius Publications will be changing soon. If you plan to send something, contact me first for the new address.

Transformations by Nora Mulligan. has sold 8 copies total as of today. For a new electronic novel, this is great! The book is available in several formats and will be available as a trade paperback soon. Thanks to the author's efforts, the book will be reviewed in several publications in the near future.
The Memoirs of Josephine Fish by Patricia Fish is now available as a printout and the paperback version will be available soon as well. Both books are having ISBN numbers assigned to them and will be listed in online and print catalogs including Books in Print, Amazon.com and BN.com. Congratulations to both our authors!
