Dear Readers and Authors:
I hope you are all doing well. There have been many developments since I last wrote; a few are listed below. The biggest change is that the Sirius Publications (tm) web site now has a permanent address! In this issue we introduce the first two authors to go online with Sirius Publications ™. We have just joined the Small Publishers Association of North America (SPAN) and added the information and logo to our front page.
We are also developing web hosting and contests. If youre interested in any of these developments, feel free to email me. As newsletter subscribers, you will have priority access and you are welcome to try out the beta versions (still in testing) after contacting us. Authors who have signed the contract are particularly encouraged to set up a web page by contacting us (more info on author pages below.)

Developed a ClickTrade program which allows us to have an affiliate program and pay people who bring us leads/customers. We are pleased to offer FREE web pages to our authors. Your web page will be at http://www.sirius-books/authorname.html. (Replace authorname with your name.) Currently, these pages are established via email, with you giving us the text for the page and agreeing on aspects of appearance. We will be happy to set up simple web pages (i.e. not many links) that promote the author and his or her publications. In addition, further web page development can be arranged with Dogstar Design Web Designers at a special rate (one web page starts at $10.) These packages will include graphics and other enhancing features not included in our free web page.

4- What we're reading
True Horror, True Crime: Bestselling Author Ann Rule
As many of you may already know, Ann Rule writes true crime stories. She is known by some as the "queen of true crime." Many of her books are bestsellers due to her talent at vivid description, meticulous detail, and drawing the reader into the tale (they are page-turners!)
The stories she tells are often of people who seem normal on the outside, yet there is something very wrong with them (the criminals) and of people who could be your brother or girlfriend (the victims.) They are also about the police and other lawmen and their often nearly impossible task of bringing justice to tragedy.
I have read nearly all of her books, and found them all riveting. Yet I still think the first book I read was the best- that was The Stranger Beside Me, about serial killer Ted Bundy. She captured Bundy's truly psychotic personality, and she had a personal investment in that story since she knew Ted as an acquaintance (and never suspected he was a killer.)
