Our Wedding


About Us

Kerri is studying for a Master's Degree in Counseling. Gerry is pursuing a dual Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling/Rehabilitation Teaching. Both are attending Western Michigan University (WMU) in Kalamazoo, MI.

The Engagement

We were in San Diego, CA for Kerri's best friend Jen's wedding. Gerry took Kerri out for a very romantic dinner at a restaurant in Old Town San Diego, the night before Valentine's Day . During the dinner, she thought he had something he wanted to say... but he didn't. The next day, we were at the airport for our flights back to Seattle and Chicago, respectively, when Gerry proposed. He said he had wanted to wait for Valentine's Day to do so. Needless to say, she said yes!

After the Wedding and Honeymoon

We will be living in the same apartment we now lease in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Kerri will be retaining her current last name... and Gerry will keep his last name, too :)
