Born in Chicago, I've lived in Seattle, WA (my husband's home town), Kalamazoo, MI (where we earned our Masters degrees from Western Michigan University (WMU), and Minneapolis, MN (why?).

Family: I live with my husband, Gerry, his loyal, goofy dog guide, Murphy, and our quirky, curious cat, Kiki Neko. I have a creative younger sister, eccentric older brother, and superlative mom and dad (who are still together-- a bit unusual nowadays?)

Current Occupation: Communications and Media Coordinator at a small university. Publisher/Owner/Editor, Sirius Publications and Sirius Recommends

Hobbies: Internet, reading, writing, watching TV and movies, collecting figurines, miniatures and vintage barbies, designing web pages.

Favorite authors include: Piers Anthony, Edward Gorey, Diana Wynne Jones, Douglas Adams, Ray Bradbury.
