How: Winners will be chosen by a random drawing (drawing will be done using 8 1/2 by 11 paper with email addresses and names printed on it.) The winner will be notified by e-mail.

Deadline: Midnight, March 30th, 2001. Notification: By April 10 the winner will be notified via an e-mail. After that, their prize will be e-mailed or mailed to them by Sirius Publications depending upon which title they have chosen.

One entry per person. You will automatically be entered in future newsletter subscriber drawings unless you request otherwise. You must enter your correct name, e-mail address and country. You may not enter on behalf of other people without their permission. You may not enter if you are under thirteen years of age. The odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.

You may also enter by hand printing on a 3 " x 5" postcard your first and last name, street address, city, state, zip code, e-mail address (if any) and telephone number, and mailing it to: Contest #1, Sirius Publications, 1704 Knollwood Ave, K102, Kalamazoo, MI 49006. Entries are void if they contain typographical or other errors. Entries generated by a script, macro or other automated means are void. Entries which are mutilated, altered, incomplete, tampered with, illegible, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are also void. Entries must be postmarked by March 30, 2001 and must be received by April 10, 2001.

Winners and finalists will be contacted as soon as possible after the drawing, and a winners' list of their names will be posted on this website. Contest is open to everyone, including professional and amateur writers, except employees of Sirius Publications and their immediate families. Void where prohibited.

Reviewer Rewards

To Enter:

Submit a review of one of our books. Review must be at least five sentences long. Of course, you must have purchased and read the book to review it. By submitting a review, you give us permission to post it on our site.

The Prizes:

Grand Prize: Twenty-five dollar online gift certificate via Flooz plus a free e-book.

First place: Winner may choose from among the many e-books at Sirius Publications, including romance, horror, fiction, and much more. A complete book list is available.

How: Our panel of judges will vote on which was the best review based on: appropriateness (10%), creativity (30%), clarity (20%), grammar (10%) and style (30%). The review receiving the most votes wins. The winner will be notified by e-mail. In the event of a tie, duplicate prizes will be awarded.

Deadline: Midnight, the 15th of each month (ongoing). Notification: By the 25th of the same month, the winner will be notified via an e-mail. After that, their prize will be e-mailed or mailed to them by Sirius Publications depending upon which title they have chosen. There are no formal format requirements for entries, but they must be included in the body of your email (not as an attachment.) Please do not send us the only copy of your work. Entry material will not be returned.

Entries which are mutilated, altered, incomplete, tampered with, illegible, inaccurate, forged, irregular in any way, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules are also void. Entries must be postmarked by the 15th of the month, 2001 and must be received by January 20, 2001. Winners and finalists will be contacted as soon as possible after all entries have been read, and a winners' list of their names will be posted on this website. Contest is not open to employees of Sirius Publications and their immediate families.

Short Story Contest

To Enter:

Submit a short story. Story must be between five and twenty-five pages long when printed on 8 1/2 by 11 paper, typed, double spaced. Story must be submitted either within the body of your email or as an attachment in Word format. By submitting a story, you give us permission to post it on our site.

The Prizes:

How: Our panel of judges will determine the best short story on: originality (30%), creativity (20%), clarity (20%), grammar (10%) and style (20%). The winner will be notified by e-mail. In the event of a tie, duplicate prizes will be awarded.

Deadline: Midnight, the 25th of each month. Notification: By the 25th of the following month, the winner will be notified via an e-mail. After that, their prize will be e-mailed or mailed to them by Sirius Publications depending upon which title they have chosen. If there is an unusually large amount of entries, the winner will be notified within 2 months.
